MUSCAT: The Ministry of Social Development and OQ Exploration and Production (OQEP) signed a funding agreement on Sunday valued at RO 60,000 to support a number of initiatives emerging from developmental workshops for civil society institutions.
These initiatives include the strategic planning initiative for social work and the Excellence and Innovation Award for civil society institutions.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the ministry by Shaikh Rashid bin Ahmed al Shamsi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development for Family Affairs and Community Development, and on behalf of OQEP by Eng. Mahmoud bin Abdullah al Hashimi, CEO of the company. — ONA
